Community Collaborations

We’ve developed diverse relationships with other agricultural producers in the area to source our base ingredients and to create memorable flavors by reclaiming and upcycling spent materials.

Rhonemus Cellars - A collaboration is in the works between Broken Glass and Rhonemus Cellars. We’ll use their grape pomace to create grappa, vodka and a unique
spirit base for gin. With future plans on developing Fairfield county's first Tawny Port, which is sure to please.

Ochs Fruit Farm - We’ll also source apple pomace from this 154 year old family owned local orchard as another base for gin as well as vodka and brandy.

Brandt Family Farm - Jay Brandt and his family own and operate Brandt Family Farm and Walnut Creek Seeds. The Brandts have been national leaders in regenerative
agriculture for over 50 years and operate a grain hub in Carroll, OH. Brandts have supplied and worked with other Ohio distilleries, which gives them special knowledge of the industry, and they will be our main source of ingredients for grain based spirits.

Gay Fad Studios - David & Jason Annecy are co-owners of this local glassware company. Their Bottoms Up mid-century barware show brings tens of thousands of barware enthusiasts to Lancaster each summer. This event presents the opportunity for special events, collaborations and the attention of true cocktail connoisseurs. Jason is an accomplished designer and customer experience expert, whose expertise in cocktail glassware uniquely qualifies him to help with branding, and he will create the Broken Glass logo and branding.

Erin Harvey - Eric’s partner, Erin grows a wide variety of herbs and culinary plants through her plant nursery and market garden, The Kale Yard. It's Erin's encourgement and support that has given Eric the courage to open Broken Glass Distillery.

We will also tap into opportunities for special events and marketing through two local organizations - Destination Downtown Lancaster and Visit Fairfield County - whose roles are to promote Lancaster’s downtown district and Fairfield County respectively.
